A Measured Approach to Sports Performance & Speed Development
Sports Performance
At 180Physique Athletics, we take a measured, intentional approach to sports performance. Instead of relying on guesswork or generic training templates, we focus on how athletes produce and apply force, the foundation of speed, power, and durable performance. Every athlete we work with is trained within a structured system designed to support long-term development, not short-term hype.
Our programming is built around weekly speed and force testing, allowing us to objectively monitor progress and adjust training in real time. Using tools such as Universal Speed Rating, we identify how athletes are adapting, when to push, and when to pull back. This ensures that improvements are not only measurable, but transferable to the field or court where performance actually matters.
To support complete athlete development, we integrate performance training with sports nutrition guidance provided by certified sports dietitians. This allows us to address growth, recovery, and fueling alongside physical training, especially during critical developmental years. From youth athletes to collegiate competitors, our goal is to guide athletes with clarity, consistency, and care throughout every stage of their journey.
Measured Speed & Force Development
Speed is not assumed, it is measured. We test and monitor key speed and force metrics weekly to ensure training is producing real adaptation. This data-driven approach allows us to move beyond opinions and provide athletes with objective feedback that guides smarter, more effective development.
Long-Term Athlete Development, Not Random Workouts
Our system is built around progression, not fatigue. Every athlete trains within a development pathway that accounts for age, sport demands, training history, and readiness. This protects athletes from overtraining while ensuring they are continually moving forward with purpose.
Integrated Support for Complete Performance
Performance does not exist in isolation. Alongside physical training, our athletes, especially those in our Premier tier—have access to sports nutrition support from licensed professionals. By addressing fueling, recovery, and growth, we help athletes maximize training benefits and build habits that support long-term health and performance.
Questions? We (probably) have the answers!
How do I sign up for a free class?
Schedule your free class with us clicking on the "Free Class" button.
How long does it take to see results in speed or strength?
Results take time, but if you’re consistent, they will come. If you are a beginner, results will come fairly quickly; even in only 4 weeks, you may start to see a difference in your speed and strength.
Do I get the chance to meet new friends?
Yes. We like to organize our training classes into smaller groups, as this allows you to meet others that are a similar age or sport.
What sets you apart from other gyms?
We are not a gym. We are data driven training facility.
How often do you recommend coming to workout classes?
If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with our private/semi-private classes. This allows new athletes to learn our terminology, cuing and technique. After 3-4 weeks of our onboarding period, we suggest athletes train for 2 days a week at a minimum. 2 days a week allows us to really improve your performance ability and hardwire the skill of athleticism.
Do you provide free refreshments there?
We have filtered water available to our members. Other snacks and drinks are available for purchase (coming soon).
Do I have to be an athlete to join?
No! No matter what your current fitness level is, we have the fitness program that is right for you. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness, and move you toward your goals. Our program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
What payment methods do you accept?
We take all major credit cards and debit cards. We do not accept personal checks.
What kind of exercises can I expect during a workout?
Our class programming will include soft tissue work and mobility to prepare for our dynamic warmup. Our dynamic warmup helps prepare for our performance training. Most days we train to improve speed, change of direction/agility or explosive power. Those training areas are the meat and potatoes of our programming. The final 20-30 minutes we train for strength. We teach olympic lifting. Our athletes train to squat, lunge, hinge, push, pull, rotate and explode.
Do I have to stop eating my favorite foods to be healthy?
No! Keep enjoying your favorite foods! We believe all foods can fit into an athlete's fueling plan. Athletes need a variety of foods to stay well fueled and perform and recover their best. We would love to help you with your fueling questions to ensure you not only perform your best but also make sure you're healthy. Our sports nutrition team would love to work with you.
