Anticipating Zaria’s arrival blog post #5

Well it’s the end of week 36 and this is my first blog post of the New Year lol! I’ve been busy preparing and taking care of business. She’s going to be here so soon! She’s still as active as ever! I’m having Braxton Hick’s contractions all the time now. I’m hungry often but my portions are extremely small due to my stomach being crowded by everything else. Reflux is driving me crazy but I’m used to it now. I get more tired easily but other than that, I feel great! I’m still working out so that’s wonderful.

My workouts consist of 4 strength training days and 3 days of conditioning. I’ve had to change what exercises I do within the last 3-4 weeks but workouts are still challenging and effective. It’s a win for me since I can still squat and deadlift. She’s healthy and my doc seems to be fine with how everything is progressing. We have been blessed with some awesome baby showers from friends, family and clients. I am truly overwhelmed by how thoughtful and generous people have been! It really makes us feel special and so happy to know how much Zaria is loved already! I’m definitely in the “nesting” phase. Scratching things off my to-do list daily. Her nursery will be 100% complete this weekend! It took FOREVER for some purchases to come in but they’ll be here by the end of the week. I’ve started preparing meals to freeze. I refuse to eat cruddy takeout food all the time when she gets here lol. It’s exciting and crazy how much life is about to change!

Looking at the year at a glance with upcoming projects, competitions for our clients and myself, I feel like this year is going to fly by like never before! It’s so great though! I’m learning to make sure to relax and enjoy these last few weeks of pregnancy. I’ve got a spa day scheduled next week and I’m REALLY looking forward to it.  I’ve been blessed to have a great journey. I’m sooooo ready for her to get here but I’m also enjoying her little kicks and punches a little while longer. 3 more weeks and 1 day to go!
